Todd Cirella is a Senior Managing Director at Laidlaw & Company, an established investment firm with a history spanning more than 180 years. Based in New York, he specializes in alternative investments and works with clients through a personalized, transparent approach focused on long-term goals, risk tolerance, and individual financial profiles.
With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, Todd began his career in 1993 at Sands Brothers, a boutique brokerage serving high-net-worth individuals and international investors. In 2004, he became involved with Laidlaw as the firm expanded its U.S. presence, working across Laidlaw Venture Partners and Laidlaw Private Equity LLC.
Todd’s work includes access to late-stage private equity opportunities through Laidlaw’s Private Stakes Program, with a focus on sectors such as enterprise technology, fintech, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital commerce. Throughout his career, he has helped clients participate in early investment rounds connected to companies including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Palantir, Pinterest, and Square.
Outside his professional work, Todd is actively involved in community and charitable initiatives. He volunteers with the American Red Cross, supports Habitat for Humanity, and serves on the board of the Syosset Soccer Program, which supports thousands of young athletes. He is also involved with the Columbus Citizens Foundation and advocates for diabetes awareness and education.
