Tanay Mehta

I'm Tanay Mehta I'm an MBA candidate at Babson College (Class of '27) with a background in electronics engineering and 3 years of commercial experience at Mehta Plastics, a commodity trading firm where I helped expand the customer base to 200+ clients across new industries and geographies. Before my MBA, I also worked at an education startup, where I got my first real taste of fast-moving product environments and the kind of scrappiness that early-stage companies run on. I build AI-powered products that solve real business problems. VoiceX, my current venture, is an AI voice receptionist for independent hotels, live in production and pursuing its first paid contract. Before that, I built and sold CRMx to ~20 SMB customers. I was the VP of Membership of Mumbai Toastmasters, world's largest toastmasters club. Along with the leadership role, I've spent 3 years doing public speaking, impromptu speeches and tons of hosting.
