I'm Tamsen. I study what novel ideas require to make aha moments possible; I'm a researcher, author, and professional sensegiver for people whose work changes minds.

I've spent over twenty five years helping leaders, teams, and organizations design messages that build buy-in and I developed the Red Thread and Rationale Mapping methods. I founded the Message Design Institute, served as an idea strategist for TEDx, and I'm a doctoral student researching how ideas create perspective change.
