I'm Maura, founder of Smuggling Nun Irish Poitín, a spirits brand rooted in a storyline from County Clare. Before going all-in on poitín, I spent 15 years running the Conference on World Affairs at CU Boulder, filling 78,000 seats annually and recruiting everyone from heads of state to award-winning filmmakers. That career in communications, events, and storytelling is now what I pour into building Smuggling Nun from the ground up.
