Shivani Moodley

I’m Shivani, a paediatric occupational therapist with over 15 years of experience and co-founder of The Primitive OT in Sydney. While I’ve worked across a range of settings including neurology, psychiatry, medico-legal, and community-based practice, most of my experience has been in paediatrics.

I’m passionate about supporting children, their families and educators, with a special interest in primitive reflex integration. I also support areas such as emotional regulation, sensory processing, self-care, and fine and gross motor development, along with the foundational skills that underpin learning, behaviour, and independence. In my spare time, you’ll find me with my family, reading, crocheting, or enjoying the outdoors.

My goal is to help you understand what your child needs, and what to do next in real-life moments.
