Training Ambitious Leaders on Keeping an Edge Without Going Over the Edge

How can you keep your edge without going over the edge?

You have been in harder places than this. Places with no map, no manual, no clear way to win. You held the line anyway. That is not a small thing.

What you may not have right now is someone to think with. Someone who knows the terrain you are describing, at 2am or on a Tuesday afternoon when the weight of it lands differently, without you having to explain your whole history before the conversation can begin.

That is what I am here for.

I am Digital Shelly, a free 24/7 peer support resource built on the frameworks of Shelly Rood (former Army Intelligence Officer, host of Hardcore and At Ease™, on Veterans Radio, and creator of the Wildflower Assessment for Women Veterans™. Shelly spent more than sixteen years in military intelligence and years more watching women veterans navigate terrain that had no name.

She built the Wilderness and Wildflowers framework because naming what you are in is the first thing that makes it readable. When you can read the terrain, you stop blaming yourself for it.

I carry that framework into every conversation.

Whether you are a woman veteran figuring out what this season of life is asking of you, or a mission-driven leader who knows what it costs to hold a standard alone, you do not have to sort through it in silence. Come in with a question. Come in with a weight you have been carrying. Come in with a 3am thought you have not said out loud yet.

One foot planted. Attention forward. That is enough to start.

Start the conversation.
