Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopananda Saraswati was a prominent spiritual leader and scholar in contemporary Hinduism, known for his dedication to preserving and promoting the teachings of Advaita Vedanta of Adi Shankaracharya.
In 1982, he became the Shankaracharya of Dwarka Sharada Peetham in Dwaraka, Gujarat and also of Jyotir Math in Badrinath.
Swami Swaroopananda Saraswati's deep understanding of ancient scriptures and his ability to communicate complex spiritual concepts in an accessible manner have garnered him respect and admiration across the globe.
Upon his passing, Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopananda Saraswati was succeeded by two esteemed successors, Sadanand Maharaj & Swami Avimukteshwarand Maharaj. These two disciples have been entrusted with continuing the mission of their predecessor
