Sanjay Vora

I’ve spent the last 15 years as a passive investor in alternative assets, 8 years running my own private fund and building Avestor to help sponsors, operators and capital raisers. Along the way, we have helped more than 250 companies launch 250 private funds and raise hundreds of millions of dollars.

Before that—and alongside it—I built a 20+ year career in technology, including serving as a Vice President of Strategic & Product Planning for Intel's $40 billion PC business.

Raising capital from investors is just plain hard. What excites me today is building a solution that overcomes these challenges so that our customers can raise capital faster and hit their business and personal goals—whether that’s in legal structure, compliance, sales, marketing operations, technology, or investor experience.

I believe the best businesses are built at the intersection of experience, empathy, and execution, and I try to bring all three into every partnership.

I have two personal passions. My first is spending time with his family. My second passion is traveling the world, which has taken him to more than 30 countries on four continents so far!
