A proud Anishinaabekwe from Seine River First Nation, Sandi Boucher is an internationally respected speaker, traditional knowledge keeper, and best-selling author dedicated to strengthening the path of Indigenous/Canadian reconciliation. Raised in a home without running water but overflowing with love, humour, and high expectations, she learned early that hard work and hope could change a life.
After losing her father at 17 and surviving ten years of domestic violence, Sandi reclaimed her voice and built a new future—first as a young single mom working in an Indigenous employment agency, eventually rising from receptionist to Executive Director of a $4M organization. The sudden passing of her mother pushed her to take an even bigger leap: founding her own company to empower First Nation communities.
A turning point came when a Canadian corporation sought her guidance on Indigenous engagement—sparking her mission to teach not just Indigenous peoples how to work in mainstream systems, but Canadians how to succeed in Indigenous spaces.
For more than sixteen years, Sandi has supported communities, governments, hospitals, colleges, and businesses nationwide, known for her ability to “balance the feather” and foster meaningful, woman-led healing on both sides of the relationship. When she isn’t speaking, writing, or creating new teachings, she’s enjoying precious time with her children and grandchildren.
