Sami Haouchine

I'm Sami, a software engineer on the GenAI team at Shield AI. I build AI-assisted developer tools, automate workflows with AI agents, and ship agentic systems for bug resolution and feature development at scale.

Before Shield AI, I was a founding engineer at doublespeed, an a16z speedrun startup, where I scaled a phone farm from 10 to 500 devices for AI-generated UGC. I studied CS at University of Michigan and run Matcha Power Hour on Instagram, where my friend and I race to build the best app in one hour.
