Salaam Bhatti joined the Food Research & Action Center in November 2023 as SNAP Director, where he works to strengthen SNAP access and benefit adequacy.
He leads annual work plans and unit goals, collaborating with other directors on FRAC's strategic priorities. He came to FRAC from the Virginia Poverty Law Center. Ask him about SNAP access, benefit adequacy, or anti-hunger advocacy.
