Roman Lasker

I'm Roman, Partner at Ambiance Group, a Europe-Israel private equity and innovation strategy firm where I work across dealmaking, corporate venture building, and ecosystem development in energy, defense, and climate. Before Ambiance, I was a Venture Partner with AnD Ventures, where I ran the venture studio. Prior to my dealmaker/venture builder career, I was a serial founder - I co-founded iCapital, an AI onboarding platform for retail finance (acquired by a financial institution), and Uppspace, a cloud monitoring company (acquired by Forthscale). I was also a partner in BigWheel, an early-stage fund in consumer tech and digital content, and an associate partner in Metako (Israel), the local branch of a Dutch strategic consultancy. I've consuled governments and corporations on innovation and AI policy, taught at several universities, and spoke at conferences in 4 continents. 25 years in, I've touched nearly every layer of the entrepeneurial/venture ecosystem.
