I'm Rick Motta, and I get called in when no playbook exists. At Fidelity, I'm leading a high-ambiguity AI initiative from concept to executable enterprise strategy. When a Fortune 25 healthcare portfolio couldn't ship, I built a custom GPT tool that analyzed their Jira data and surfaced the real problem: a 3:1 defect-to-story ratio.
I spent 25 years in regulated environments turning strategic intent into delivery. At Citizens Bank, I rose from early web engineer to SVP of Retail Technology, launching the bank's first online banking system and directing a $300MM portfolio. I advised Vast Bank on delivery governance for the nation's first FDIC-insured bank to offer crypto services.
