Ravi Gupta is a Partner at Sequoia Capital, where he leads growth-stage investments across consumer, fintech, crypto, and enterprise sectors. Known for his operational depth and empathy, Gupta draws on his experience as Instacart’s former CFO and COO, where he helped scale the business during its most challenging and formative years. He joined Sequoia in 2019 and has since invested in standout companies including Faire, Fireblocks, Front, Ramp, Noom, Remote, and Meter.

Earlier in his career, Gupta spent a decade at KKR in both operational and investing roles, and began his professional journey at McKinsey. With a degree in economics from Duke University and roots in Chicago, Gupta’s journey reflects his outsider beginnings and deep commitment to purposeful work.
