Pierce Asiatico

Hi! I’m Pierce, a chemistry educator and mentor with a passion for helping students grow in both confidence and understanding.

I recently earned my M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Alabama, where I gained experience in undergraduate instruction, laboratory teaching, tutoring, and scientific communication. Since 2017, I’ve worked with over 50 students in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Algebra, and Calculus. I especially enjoy helping students take concepts that feel overwhelming at first and turning them into something approachable and rewarding.

I’m passionate about education and creating learning environments where students feel supported and encouraged to ask questions and build confidence in themselves. My faith is also an important part of who I am and it influences the way I approach leadership. My faith has given me a heart of mentorship and to serve others, and it's helped me to incorporate the learning environment I hope to achieve one day. I strive to bring encouragement, integrity, and compassion into every environment I’m part of.
