About
Oyetunji Awwal Oyetunji is an Islamic educator, Imam, institutional administrator, and emerging social entrepreneur from Nigeria. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of the People and has completed the Aspire Leaders Program, where he is now an alumnus and an Entrepreneurship pathway participant.
His work focuses on improving the quality, structure, and sustainability of Islamic and Arabic education, particularly in underserved communities. He is developing Madārij Educational System, an educational initiative focused on curriculum development, teacher capacity-building, institutional improvement, and accessible learning pathways.
Oyetunji combines experience in Qur’an and Islamic education with growing expertise in leadership, entrepreneurship, research, and organizational development. Through Madārij, he seeks to move beyond teaching individual learners toward building stronger educational institutions and systems.
