Dr. Nilda Perez, DSL, LCSW, is The Bridge Between Neurobiological Trauma and Immigration Law. She created the NeuroLegal Method™, a proprietary framework that converts trauma-shaped presentation into credibility-relevant, adjudicator-ready evidence for immigration matters.

Trauma changes how a person remembers, sequences, and recounts what happened to them, and those changes are easily misread in a legal record as inconsistency or evasiveness. Under the corroboration standard now shaping immigration adjudication, that misreading carries real evidentiary risk. The Method identifies where trauma may have affected the specific functions at issue when a client recounted and documented a claim, and translates that clinical reasoning into language a record can hold. Trauma stops being context. It becomes evidence.

Anchored by the Five Neurobiological Patterns™ and a standardized forensic instrument battery, the Method is operationalized through NeuroLegal EvalOS™, the evaluation system she built to produce clinically grounded corroboration, mapped credibility exposure, cross-record alignment, and an attorney-usable report. She brings 30 years of forensic clinical experience, is licensed in Florida, New York, and Connecticut, has a DSL in Strategic Foresight from Regent University, and an MSW from Fordham University.
