Michael Melville

I founded Geotechnicoal, and, with the help of my brilliant team, have grown it into a burgeoning consulting practice focused on geotechnical engineering and geology for the resource industry in Australia. I spent years on site at North Goonyella, moving from longwall face geologist through to managing the entire strata control and geology operation before going independent. My background spans across geology, geophysics and mining engineering, with a Masters in Mine Geomechanics from UNSW.
