I'm Melissa, founder and CEO of The Beans, a visual financial planning tool built on behavioral psychology. The idea is simple: most people don't need more financial data, they need a clearer picture of where they stand. Before The Beans, I co-founded Comet Labs, an early-stage AI venture fund, and spent time at Oxford researching economic stress and behavior change. I led the development of 'Economic Strengthening' program which has been proven to relieve financial stress and improve economic wellfare. I also co-founded the Oxford Angel Fund, backing founders with Oxford ties.
