Meet Baani Kaur

I'm Meet, a Cornell student studying Operations Research & Engineering with a minor in AI. I build predictive ML pipelines, risk scoring frameworks, and stochastic simulations to analyze system behavior under uncertainty. Currently I'm a research intern at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, where I'm building a forecasting layer for wildlife conservation teams to deploy acoustic recorders strategically across Southeast Asia.

I came to Cornell on the Tata Scholarship as an international student from India. I'm drawn to dynamic, high-signal problems where analytical clarity and careful model design matter, and I value teams that test ideas through iteration and first-principles reasoning.
