Matt Schmitt

Matt Schmitt is the Co-Founder & Head eCommerce Coach at Skup, where he specializes in helping entrepreneurs build profitable print-on-demand apparel businesses.

Matt has been in the print-on-demand space since 2013, well before the model became mainstream. He started his eCommerce journey while working a corporate job in St. Louis, building his side hustle into a full-time business that would eventually generate over $50 million in combined sales across multiple brands.

A true practitioner, Matt has built and exited multiple 7-figure print-on-demand brands, giving him real-world experience that goes far beyond theory. His most recent brand exit allowed him to shift focus toward coaching and his growing family.

In 2016, Matt partnered with Devin Zander by acquiring a stake in Smar7 Apps. The company then rebranded to Skup in 2021. Today, he leads Skup's coaching programs, including the Incubator and Diamond programs, where he works directly with students through weekly group calls and 1-on-1 mentorship to help them launch and scale their own POD brands.

Matt lives in St. Louis with his family.
