Mariza van Zyl-Louw

I'm Mariza, a consulting clinician and nutritional therapist and founder of BetterEat Nutrition Consultancy and expert-led digital nutrition education program platform TwoTix Learning Lab. I treat complex patients with multiple health conditions using nutrigenomics testing, biochemical investigations, and targeted nutrient repletion, developing integrated nutritional and lifestyle therapy plans that are tailored to the individual and each person's unique circumstances, likes, dislikes and tolerance of therapy.

For over 30 years, I've worked as a clinical dietitian, consulting with patients, industry and media in South Africa. After relocating to the UK, I worked as a specialist diabetes dietitian in the NHS and moved on to an appointment as course director and assistant professor at the prestigious University of Warwick for the well-known 'Improving Diabetes' postgraduate and diploma courses. I also expanded my teaching and supervised students, and taught across several courses at Warwick Medical School.
