I'm Loki, an independent electrochemist.
I got into electrochemistry because it sits at the intersection of materials, chemistry, and energy, and I was drawn to how electron flow can drive real chemical transformations while letting me tune reactions by controlling potential, interfaces, and materials.
My current work focuses on water electrolysis, especially the hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction, where I explore the trade-off between catalytic activity and long-term stability and how catalyst design translates to full-cell performance.
What I enjoy most is that electrochemistry constantly forces me to think across scales, from atomic-level reactions to device-level performance, like solving a complex puzzle.
