As Founder & CEO of Tokenz, I'm building Northeast Asia's first native Merchant of Record platform, empowering game publishers and digital businesses to monetize globally. We handle payments, tax compliance across 224+ jurisdictions, and regulatory complexity so creators can focus on what they do best. Previously, I was the Founding CTO of Smartpay, Japan's first credit card-based BNPL, where I led the development of scalable payment solutions. My career spans leadership roles at Paidy (acquired by PayPal for $2.7B), Rakuten, and HTC—where I became the youngest Principal Engineer and helped pioneer early Android development. Along the way, I've built high-performing teams, scaled products across borders, and secured strategic partnerships with Apple and Amazon.
