Chris Lambert is the founder and CEO of Next Level Nonprofit, an organizational operating system built specifically to help nonprofits thrive.
It’s not the path Chris imagined when he studied marketing at Indiana University, planned for law school, and dreamed of a high-powered career in real estate development. But after a life-changing spiritual awakening during his junior year, while living in Australia, he felt a new calling—one that led him to earn both an MDiv and a doctorate in preaching from Fuller and Gordon-Conwell seminaries.
Chris and his wife spent time living in Liberia, West Africa, where they partnered with a village to drill a well, donate farm animals, and build its first school. Back in the U.S., Chris founded the church Ekklesia and, in 2010, launched Life Remodeled, an organization that transforms vacant school buildings into one-stop hubs of opportunity.
A two-time TEDx speaker, Chris has been named to NABR’s Best & Brightest CEOs in the Nation, SMART BUSINESS Dealmaker of the Year, and Building Design + Construction’s 40 Under 40. Chris’s reputation precedes him, but it’s the journey ahead—and the people who are helping to lead the way—that excites him most.
