Kevin Folta​

Kevin is a professor researching plant molecular biology and genomics, with work in functional genomics of fruit crops and how light shapes controlled growing environments.

He leads science communication workshops for farmers, scientists, and industry, with emphasis on contentious issues, and has hosted the Talking Biotech Podcast since 2015. His family farms in rural Florida. Ask him about plant genomics, biotechnology, or science communication.
