I’m a Veterinary Cardiologist committed to providing expert, compassionate care to pets with heart disease— supporting both the families who love them and the veterinarians who care for them.

I’m board-certified with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Cardiology), and completed my veterinary degree with honours at Massey University in New Zealand. My worldwide training includes two small animal rotating internships (New Zealand and Canada) and a cardiology residency at the University of Minnesota, USA, where I was honoured with the Resident Award of Excellence.

Since returning to New Zealand, I’ve helped establish a dedicated veterinary cardiology service, and have authored over a dozen peer-reviewed publications. My clinical interests include the medical and interventional management of heart failure, complex congenital heart disease, and advancing collaborative care between GPs, specialists, and pet families.
