Kanyi Maqubela

I'm Kanyi, MP at Kindred Ventures, an early-stage venture firm writing seed through Series A checks for founders building transformational things.

I was born in Soweto and came to the US as a refugee. Before venture I worked on Barack Obama's 2008 campaign, taught math and science in K-12, and co-founded companies including Heartbeat Health after studying philosophy at Stanford (and dropping out).
