I'm Kaitlin, a licensed therapist, author, and consultant who translates complex psychological ideas into language that actually reaches people. I run Bay Area Modern Therapy, advise AI and product teams on human-centered design, and serve as a subject matter expert on ADHD and women's mental health at Understood.org. I wrote "A Little Less of a Hot Mess" (Simon & Schuster) and much of my work centers on neurodivergent women rewriting shame-based narratives.
