Jurgen Proschinger​

Jurgen Proschinger is the founder of Triangle Forces, a Stuttgart-based advisory for businesses operating across technology, media, and entertainment. He has built his career around a practical premise: new distribution technology changes the mechanics, but the hard questions remain audience and economics.

Over more than three decades, his work has run from film finance and production in London to digital distribution at Sony Pictures and carrier-video strategy at Ericsson and Huawei. That combination allows him to move between chain of title, product design, and P&L management without losing the commercial thread. Much of his work involves bringing together people who too often meet only after a plan has gone wrong: producers, engineers, lawyers, sales teams and investors.

At Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, he grew the DACH digital business from greenfield operations to €2.6 million and moved the company from eight to second in Germany’s national digital-sales ranking. Since founding Triangle Forces in 2016, he has advised studios, operators, platforms, investors, and public bodies on strategy, partnerships, market entry and content-led growth. His work includes structuring a €12.5 million CHILI–Kaufland movie-rental partnership during the COVID pandemic. 

Jurgen holds an MBA in Media Management from Steinbeis, undertaken with SDA Bocconi and NYU Stern, and a European Master in Audiovisual Management. He has worked across Europe, Asia and North America. A photographer, lifelong gamer, reader and father, he has been online since 1985. He remains curious about new ideas, and stubborn about the need for them to survive contact with customers, cash flow, and common sense.
