About
I invented the Blue Starlite Drive-in in Austin, a mini urban drive-in and open air multiplex that reimagined what outdoor cinema could be. Now I'm pushing further with Silents Synced, pairing live alt rock scores to classic silent films for indie and art house theaters. I've also written books with Black Francis, Tim Heidecker, and Harold Ramis, including a Pixies biography and a Salvador Dali comic. Ask me about drive-in cinema, Silents Synced, writing about music, and reinventing the moviegoing experience.
