Then, my wife and I started a family, and I realized I needed to start making money.

Thus began a 13-year career in venture capital. I managed a philanthropic foundation, spearheaded the first sustainable agriculture-focused VC company, and was the largest investor in the first sustainable agriculture IPO on Nasdaq.
