Jodie Baker

Jodie is an innovator, entrepreneur and a passionate advocate of #LegalTech.

In 2016, Jodie founded Xakia Technologies. Xakia is a clean, simple matter management system which collates information for in-house legal teams into a central "hub" - some might call it 'enterprise legal management' but we think that sounds more complicated than it needs to be!

Xakia's intuitive interface provides individual lawyers and GCs with clear task and matter management, and beautiful dashboards and reports for informed decision making and communication with your business.

Xakia's clients benefit from intuitive systems that provide robust legal data analytics and automated reporting that make CFOs and CEOs happy.

Prior to Xakia, Jodie was the architect and founding Managing Director of Hive Legal, a role for which she was recognised as a finalist in Lawyers' Weekly Women in Law Awards Executive of the Year 2015. Jodie was shortlisted for the 'Legal Innovator' category in the Australian FT Innovative Lawyers awards for 2018.

Jodie was instrumental in the founding of the Australian Legal Technology Association, was the Chair 2019-2020 and a current Board Member. Xakia is a proud Founding Member.
