I co‑founded VitalSigns and learned the craft by shadowing Sequoia mentors before spending 25 years partnering with teams behind companies like WhatsApp, GitHub, and Palo Alto Networks. Today I also focus on philanthropy through Mae Philanthropies and serve on the boards of Intel and Palo Alto Networks. My foundation is in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Cincinnati and Stanford.
