James G. Spencer

I'm James Spencer, President of the D.L. Moody Center and founder of Thinking Christian. I write and teach on what the Bible says about modern life, politics, technology, and cultural engagement. I'm an Associate Research Fellow at the Kirby Laing Centre and adjunct instructor at Wheaton College.

I hold a PhD in Theological Studies from Trinity and have written books including Serpents and Doves and Christian Resistance. My next book tackles discipleship in the digital age, asking what technology is doing to the Christian mind and how we can live faithfully within it.
