I'm Jake. I hold a PhD from MIT, spent 17 years at Morgan Stanley trading and managing risk across the globe, then joined Harvard Management Company as Chief Risk Officer to oversee investment risk for the world's largest university endowment.

Now I co-teach at MIT on mathematics and finance, and study how crowd behavior drives market instability.
