David Kessler explains that not crying after someone dies doesn't mean you didn't love them. Grief shows up differently for everyone: some people cry later, some stay busy, some just feel numb. Don't judge yourself or others for how it looks.

  1. I'm David Kessler. I'm a grief and loss specialist. Here's what I know. If someone died and you haven't cried yet, it doesn't mean you didn't love them. Sometimes grief looks like picking up the kids, answering emails, holding everything together. We all grieve differently. We all grieve in our own time and in our own way. Some grieve with tears now and others grieve with tears later. Some of us never grieve with tears. Don't judge someone or yourself by what's happening on the outside. What does grief look like on you or on your friends or loved ones? Let me know your thoughts and follow for more information and support. Thanks.
