I'm Hunter Nelson, founder of Nelson Insurance Agency. We specialize in trucking and transportation insurance, helping fleets and owner-operators protect their businesses with insurance and risk management solutions. Our mission is to create raving fans by offering a better experience, positioning ourselves as true business partners — not vendors.

I work directly with trucking companies to lower their total cost of risk (TCOR) through customized coverage, safety programs, and compliance support. I'm especially strong at turning CAB reports, safety scores, and operational data into real-world action plans that protect clients' businesses and improve profitability.

Beyond client work, I’ve built internal systems that help with advertising, quoting, education, risk management, training, speed, etc. My goal is the train my employees without me having to answer a million questions, gets quotes to prospects as fast as possible, and educate my employees and clients. I am also involved in real estate investing.

I'm working to build Nelson Insurance Agency into a legacy business — a trusted leader in trucking risk management — while integrating smarter technology and AI to serve clients faster and better. My long-term goal is to help trucking companies not just survive but thrive through better protection, better service, and smarter strategies.
