Hamza Khasawneh

Hamza Khasawneh is a fourth-year Honours Business Administration and Economics student at the Ivey Business School, graduating in 2026 with First Class Honours and consistently on the Dean’s Honour List.

He has professional experience across consulting, technology, and startups. Most recently, he worked at Accenture Strategy as a Summer Analyst, where he automated OKR creation for a multinational rail company through a customized GenAI-powered Copilot Agent and developed digital solution bundles for an American telecom to guide SME market expansion. Previously, he interned at WhiteHelmet, a venture-backed AI startup, where he supported the CFO in an $11.3M Series A raise, prepared investor materials, and improved revenue reporting and subscription metrics. Earlier, at Thya Technology, he worked with the product team to translate customer feedback into new AI features, increasing user satisfaction.

At Ivey, Hamza serves as Managing Editor of the Ivey Business Review (IBR), Canada’s premier student-run strategy journal. He leads a 36-person team of authors, editors, and researchers, overseeing the publication of 13 articles per semester read by more than 50,000 people annually. Under his leadership, IBR strengthened its partnerships with industry leaders such as The Globe and Mail and introduced new editorial standards that improved submission quality and publishing timelines. Hamza also mentors student authors on transforming business analysis into strategic storytelling that meets professional standards.

Beyond Ivey, Hamza combines his interests in data, technology, and strategy through projects like the F1 Racing Line Visualizer, a Python-based telemetry web app that allows drivers to compare racing lines and performance data. The tool has attracted thousands of visitors and has been featured in online sim-racing communities for its innovative approach to real-time analysis.

Hamza’s interests lie in strategy, AI, and product innovation. He aims to build a career at the intersection of consulting and technology, helping organizations use data and digital tools to make smarter, faster, and more enduring decisions.
