Govind Rao

Govind Rao is Professor of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering and Director of the Center for Advanced Sensor Technology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he has been a faculty member since 1987.

He earned his chemical engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and his PhD from Drexel University, and works on bioprocessing and advanced sensing. Ask him about bioprocessing, sensor technology, or biomanufacturing.
