I’m Frederic Bouvard, founder and CEO of MyOwnBusinessMentor Academy, where I help entrepreneurs turn business ideas into structured, financeable and sustainable ventures.

I teach entrepreneurship, corporate finance and financial management to EMBA and MSc students at NEOMA Business School and the International University of Monaco. I also mentor MBA students throughout their academic and entrepreneurial journey, and regularly speak at conferences on entrepreneurship, finance and fundraising.

I am the author of Finance for the Rest of Us: A Non-Academic Real-World Guide to Fundraising!, which was nominated by BookAuthority as one of the best fundraising books to read in 2024.

My focus is simple: demystifying finance and helping entrepreneurs, founders and students master the financial fundamentals that truly matter in the real world. I help them understand how to structure a business, assess its financial coherence, prepare for fundraising, negotiate with investors and raise funds more effectively and securely.
