Fedor Tsarev

I'm Fedor, a quant researcher at Squarepoint using evolutionary algorithms, deep learning, and classical ML to generate alpha. Before that, I spent nearly a decade at WorldQuant scaling research centers across Russia and Armenia, leading teams of 35+ researchers. I'm an ACM ICPC World Champion, hold a PhD in Computer Science, and co-founded a bioinformatics and ML lab at ITMO. I moved back to individual contributor work because AI agents made large teams less necessary to ship meaningful things.
