Hungry for global scale, I co-founded OLX, growing it to 10 000 staff and 300M monthly users across 30+ countries. With OLX mature, I launched FJ Labs, a venture platform that invests like an angel at scale—1,200+ deals, 300+ exits, early stakes in Alibaba, Coupang, Vinted, Flexport—earning Forbes’s #1 angel spot. FJ Labs backs marketplace, climate, AI, and fintech innovators, decides in two calls within 48 hours, never leads rounds, and avoids board seats. I now orbit among New York’s intellectual buzz, Turks & Caicos’ turquoise calm, and Revelstoke’s powder backcountry, with annual pilgrimages to Nice, Burning Man, and a new frontier. A 2019 Ayahuasca vision of my late grandmother nudged me toward fatherhood; today my son François, daughter Amélie, and white German Shepherd Angel chase wind, waves, and snow beside me. I keep writing essays, hosting salons, recording a podcast, and mentoring founders, believing technology, generosity, and play can guide humanity toward sustainable abundance.
