Edie Fraser is the Honorary Chair, Founder, and former Chair and CEO of Women Business Collaborative (WBC). WBC's mission is to ensure women's representation in top business positions and scaling of entrepreneurs. Edie's career highlights her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to gender and diversity advocacy. She is a founding member of C200, serves on its board, and founded Diversity Best Practices, STEMconnector®, and Million Women Mentors (MWM), achieving 2.5 million mentorship commitments. As vice chair of the Enterprising Women Foundation, she supports STEM programs for girls and community initiatives. With over 93 major awards, Edie has led numerous initiatives, including WBC's collaboration with 90 partner organizations. WBC champions Action Initiatives, Champions of Change, and Companies of Purpose, hosting events like "Ringing the Bell for Equality" at the New York Stock Exchange. Edie's global engagement began as a Peace Corps Desk Officer for Africa and the first woman to chair the World Affairs Council of DC. She co-produced "Women Mean Business: 500 Insights from 102 Extraordinary Leaders," celebrating women's achievements and offering guidance for future leaders. Her extensive career includes founding three woman-owned businesses and public affairs firms, serving as Managing Director of Diversified Search, and building Public Affairs Group. Appearing on eight magazine covers, extensively interviewed, and a prominent global speaker, Edie's early work with the Peace Corps and U.S. Poverty Program, along with her efforts in strategic health communications, underscore her commitment to key issues in both government and the private sector.
