About

With a focus on managing creativity and innovation in workspaces, Dr. Fatma Güneri is attached to the LIDD École de Design at the Institut Catholique de Lille (ICL). She works with the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire des Transitions de Lille, which focuses on changes in territory and societal behavior. Her academic background includes advanced degrees in social innovation design and creativity management, as well as a doctorate in experiential marketing. Her mission is to carry out research on the role of third place as actor of ecological, educational, and social transitions as well as microcities in the urban university campuses. Hybrid and collaborative spaces, called third places, represent models of work and learning that encourage co-creation, collective intelligence and innovation as well as resilience in the territories. Sustainable practices, such as the circular economy and participative management of resources, also play a crucial role in the ecological transition.
