I'm a lawyer-turned peacemaker with deep expertise in listening, emotional intelligence, negotiation, decision-making, and leadership. Since leaving law practice in 2000, I've served as a high-conflict mediator, arbitrator, leadership expert, professor, author, and speaker. My signature project has been Prison of Peace, which I co-founded with Laurel Kaufer in 2009. From 2009 to 2010, I trained over 3,000 men and women serving life and long-term sentences on how to stop prison violence using my unique skills. I've written 5 books and am a Simon & Schuster author.
