I'm Doug Levy, a crisis communications consultant who trains public information officers on getting emergency messages out fast when lives are on the line. Firefighter and EMT turned award-winning investigative reporter turned communications leader at three top medical centers. I wrote The Communications Golden Hour, the handbook for public information under pressure.

As a reporter I won a Peabody for exposing tobacco industry research on cancer and addiction. I've guided executives through complex crises, prepared Congressional testimony, and co-founded Public Sector AI Lab.
