I'm Debbie, pursuing my MS in Data Science at Northeastern with a focus on computer vision and production ML systems. I got into machine learning through fish, operating a CV pipeline at Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife that processed 100k+ juvenile salmon daily. I caught silent accuracy degradations and traced them to real problems, which made me want to build better CV systems.
I bring domain expertise in ecological data and hands-on experience with deployed infrastructure. Previously I worked with zebrafish research at University of Washington.
Ask me about computer vision in production, ML for ecological data, and transitioning from environmental science to data science.
