I’m Danny Orlick, Founder & CEO of NetGym. My passion for solving problems in fitness started in San Francisco, where I spent five years selling enterprise software at New Relic and WalkMe while also teaching packed cycling classes in the Marina.
As an instructor, I saw firsthand how chaotic subbing and staff communication were. Hundreds of emails, mass texts, Facebook groups, and spreadsheets — all just to cover one class. Managers juggling 20–100+ instructors were stuck in the same nightmare, battling no-shows and broken processes.
That experience sparked NetGym: a platform that unifies sub requests, filters by skill and location, updates schedules automatically, and centralizes staff communication. What began as a side project has grown into a staff experience platform serving 2,500+ locations across 8 countries.
I don’t run NetGym alone. I partner with my wife and co-founder, Danielle Orlick, who brings a background in public health and customer success leadership from WalkMe. Together, we’ve taken NetGym from a lifestyle business to a growing small-business empire, building a company while raising two beautiful daughters. Our shared mission is clear: give fitness operators and their staff the tools they need to thrive, so they can focus on delivering exceptional experiences to their members.
