I'm a former private equity investor and operator who now helps PE firms and their portfolio companies unlock people-powered value creation. After 15 years at Alpine Investors—where I led deals, sat on boards, and helped build the CEO-in-Training program—I founded Accelera Partners to help investors and leadership teams accelerate value creation by getting the people and leadership side right.

I’ve written several books on the topic, including the bestseller Winning Moves: 105 Proven Ways to Create Value in Private Equity-Backed Companies. I teach a course on PE value creation at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and co-founded Ascend, a leadership accelerator built specifically for executives in PE-backed companies.

My goal is simple: help ambitious PE-backed leaders make value creation happen—faster, smarter, and with people at the center.
